Keyword intelligence

A keyword map your whole Amazon team can use.

We research how shoppers describe, compare, and look for your product—then turn thousands of possible phrases into clear priorities for SEO, creative, and paid search.

Keyword IntelligenceSearch priorities

The usual deliverable

Ten thousand rows and no next move.

Tool exports are good at finding phrases. They are less useful at deciding whether a phrase is truly relevant, what the shopper wants, where it belongs, or whether pursuing it makes commercial sense.

Our approach

Build a keyword architecture, not a keyword dump.

We combine multiple data sources, remove noise, group queries by intent, and apply human product judgment. The result is a working plan with clear roles, placements, and priorities.

  • Separate product-defining terms from broad category traffic
  • Surface feature, use-case, audience, and problem-led demand
  • Connect organic content and paid-search discovery

Where the intelligence comes from

More than one tool.
More than search volume.

Available inputs vary by marketplace, account, and product history. We document the sources used so modeled data is not confused with first-party performance.

01 · MARKET

Competitor footprint

Reverse-ASIN and listing analysis reveal the language established products cover, where they compete, and where the category looks crowded.

02 · SHOPPER

Customer language

Reviews, questions, use cases, product terminology, and search suggestions expose how buyers describe the need in their own words.

03 · PERFORMANCE

Account evidence

When shared, search-term, advertising, and brand data help separate queries that merely look promising from those already driving engagement or orders.

Our research method

Four passes from
discovery to decision.

Each pass reduces noise and adds context. We keep the underlying data visible, but make the recommended action easy to find.

01

Define the product

We document product type, features, benefits, audiences, use cases, limitations, marketplace, and close substitutes.

02

Build the universe

We collect seed terms, competitor coverage, search variations, long-tail phrases, and any account-level query evidence available.

03

Clean and classify

Duplicates and false matches are removed. Remaining terms are grouped by meaning, intent, funnel role, and product relevance.

04

Prioritize and place

We weigh relevance, observed demand, competitive context, current position, and conversion evidence before assigning an action.

The keyword architecture

Every cluster gets
a specific job.

This is the signature section of the deliverable: a shared language system that keeps copy, imagery, SEO, and advertising pointed at the same customer intent.

Keyword roleWhat it tells usTypical action
Primary product termsThe clearest description of what the item isTitle, core copy, baseline tracking
Feature and attribute termsThe specifications or qualities shoppers care aboutBullets, gallery proof, backend coverage
Use-case and audience termsThe situation, person, or problem behind the searchImages, bullets, PPC tests, content angles
Comparison and alternative termsHow shoppers frame the choice setGap analysis, positioning, selective testing
Low-fit or misleading termsTraffic the product cannot satisfy wellExclude, monitor, or consider as negatives

Placements are recommendations, not a promise that every term should appear in every field. Readability and accurate relevance remain the final filters.

Common questions

Before the
research starts.

Scope can cover one ASIN, a closely related variation family, a launch, or a portfolio-level landscape.

Which marketplaces can you research?

Research is marketplace-specific because demand, wording, and competition vary by country. Share the target marketplace and product so we can confirm data coverage and whether native-language support is required.

Can you research a product that has not launched yet?

Yes. For launches, we lean more heavily on the product brief, category, competitors, customer language, and third-party market data because the ASIN has no performance history.

Does the service include rewritten listing copy?

The keyword map includes placement direction. Full title, bullet, description, image, or A+ Content creation belongs in the Listing & Image Optimization scope.

Can the research be used for PPC?

Yes. We flag terms and clusters for discovery, validation, exact targeting, or negative-keyword review. Campaign build and management are separate unless included in your proposal.

Do you simply select the highest-volume keywords?

No. Volume without relevance can bring expensive, low-converting traffic. We prioritize a combination of fit, intent, evidence, competitive context, and realistic business value.
